Park National Bank delivered a $1,000 check to Dawes Arboretum recently as part of its campaign to increase use of eStatements, its newest environmentally friendly service, reducing the use of paper.
Park pledged on March 25 to donate $1 for every person who signed up for free eStatement service before The Dawes Arboretum's annual Arbor Day Festival at the arboretum. Since then, 577 people signed up for eStatement services.
Park National added to its pledge to make the $1,000 donation.
Park's eStatement service allows customers to stop receiving bank statements via mail and view them online, through secure online banking pages. The bank sends an e-mail reminder to the customer each month when the full statement is posted.
