Bil Manes, a ten-year veteran in the electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) industry, has joined Transactis, the industry leader in email billing technologies. Joe Proto, CEO, Transactis, made the announcement.

The EBPP industry continues to increase dramatically. In a recent online survey of Americans, there is a continued increase in electronic bill pay, with 62% of bills being paid electronically by the 80% of households with Internet access. Reducing the 25 billion paper bills and statements printed annually is a top goal for the payments industry and Transactis' main focus.

Mr. Manes has thirty years of experience in delivering technology based solutions, and has been responsible for sales, business development, professional services and customer support. Prior to joining Transactis, Bil held positions with various companies including Online Resources (ORCC) and Pitney Bowes. Most recently, with ORCC, he was Senior Strategic Development Executive, responsible for developing channel relationships for its eCommerce Division.
