Universal Business Computing Company (www.ubcc.com), the leading provider of high volume, high productivity payroll and accounting software, today announces multiple enhancements to their Payroll and Write Up software. The enhancements include one-step client payroll import from QuickBooks, the ability for operators to use Google Gmail to send clients eStubs, eReports, and eStatements, and an enhanced Laser Macro generator to add customized watermarks or branding to reports, invoice statements or checks.

The QuickBooks data import, Google Gmail integration, and laser macro generator enhancements are productivity features that allow UBCC clients to offer the most profitable and cost-effective Payroll and WriteUp services. "We strive to ensure UBCC payroll and accounting software remains decidedly ahead of all others and is the most profitable, powerful and customizable on the market. These enhancements further that goal," said Ken Garen, CPA, Co-founder and President of UBCC.

1. QuickBooks data import - Import QuickBooks created payroll checks with a simple one-step process. Numerous controls have been added to accommodate the uniqueness of specific clients QuickBooks data files. When importing a client file from QuickBooks, the new controls can be set to automatically adjust the employee number in Quickbooks to the one used by the payroll service bureau, as well as skip "0" checks, reverse deductions/overheads/withholdings as needed. These new features vastly simplify and increase accuracy when working with QuickBooks data.

2. Google Gmail - In addition to sending eStubs, eReports & {tag  eStatements to clients using client based email programs such as Outlook, UBCC Payroll and Write Up clients now have the ability to work using Google's Gmail webmail. This enhancement allows UBCC clients the option to choose what email client to use for UBCC generated emails, have different controls such as a delayed send on Gmail and an immediate send on their Outlook, or a different reply address. "This enhancement gives our clients the flexibility to choose an email program that works best for them," commented Garen.

3. Laser Macro generator - UBCC Payroll and Write Up clients now have the ability to convert any one-page Word document into a laser macro that will automatically print on checks, reports, invoices, and statements. The Laser Macro generator can also be used to create a form overlay for a report, or to add specialized headers, logos, or watermarks for customization and branding purposes.
