KUBRA, a customer interaction management
solution provider, today announced it has signed an agreement with NSTAR
to provide a comprehensive e-billing solution. NSTAR is the largest
Massachusetts-based, investor-owned electric and gas utility, with 1.1
million electric customers 300,000 gas customers. The new contract
covers a multi-channel, e-billing solution across Biller-Direct, Secure
email delivery and payment, multiple consolidator networks, and mobile
channels.

NSTAR pursued an RFP process to replace an in-house e-billing
solution and to expand e-billing options in an effort to increase
customer satisfaction and continue to grow their substantial paperless
billing rates. Nstar was looking for a cloud-based offering that
provided extensive choice to their customers and was proven in the
marketplace in terms of performance, functionality, and security. KUBRA
and the i-doxs™ Suite Utility Edition solution was chosen as their go
forward product. Over time, NSTAR will deploy both the B2C and B2B
configurations across a wide variety of e-billing channels including
multiple mobile options [text, optimized browser, and Apps]. The
implementation will include a migration from their existing in-house
environment and deployment of digital mail aggregation networks. |
