Intracorp has introduced electronic billing and automated payment processing solutions that meet current and pending US state mandated electronic billing requirements, through an agreement with Jopari Solutions.

Intracorp will continue to provide paper-based services for those medical management companies still using more traditional methods. However, the added electronic services would increase a payer’s ability to improve claims performance through the use of compliant electronic methods for medical bill submissions, remittance advice and associated electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments.

The company claims that in addition to immediate operational cost savings intrinsic with electronic systems, customers could also save the expense of creating web site portals for managing transactions.
