Goodmail Guarantees Inbox Penetration For More Than 60 Striata Billers

on Thursday 01 Jul 2010

Goodmail Systems and Striata are working together to enhance deliverability for more than 60 of Striata’s telecommunications, utility and insurance billers in the U.S.

Striata is the leading North American secure electronic document delivery provider with more than 250 clients globally.  Striata sends millions of commercial electronic messages and eDocuments per day. Goodmail Systems is the creator of CertifiedEmail™, the industry’s standard class of trusted email.

For many email marketers, email delivery is an important factor, but for Striata, inbox penetration is mission critical. A key element in the Striata value proposition is the guaranteed delivery of securely encrypted bills , bank statements, insurance policies and other high value personal documents.

“For more than two years now we have been able to offer our clients guaranteed inbox delivery across Goodmail’s ISP partners, these include: AOL, Comcast, Verizon, Cox, MySpace, Telus, and other large mailbox providers – approximately 60% of our average biller’s consumer customer base,” says Garin Toren, Striata Chief Operating Officer. “Since the inception of our business in 1999, it has been a top priority to utilize all technology, strategies and tools available to ensure that our messages arrive safely in the recipient’s inbox - without being caught up at the ISP, local mail server or desktop spam protection. While we have had great success in doing so, Goodmail’s assured inbox delivery, has certainly assisted us in taking this to the next level.”

Furthermore, trusting the authenticity of an email is another critical element of Striata messaging. Goodmail’s senders and partners certify every message by adding a CertifiedEmail seal to the message. When recipients see Goodmail’s Blue Trust Seal in their inbox, they know the message is safe, secure and authentic. Upon opening a CertifiedEmail message, the Blue Trust Seal appears again in the security strip —one area that cannot be tampered with or spoofed. Consumers can therefore open Striata clients’ CertifiedEmail messages with confidence, knowing that they come from legitimate senders.

In addition to inbox delivery and sender verification, commercial messages delivered by CertifiedEmail have the images in the body of the email turned on by default. Branding and email creative integrity is thus preserved throughout the messaging process, ensuring that the recipient receives the message and views it exactly as intended.

Striata’s innovative clients taking advantage of the Goodmail partnership include: Time Warner, United Water (Suez Group), PepsiCo, Plymouth Rock Companies, City of Tallahassee, Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc, CPS Energy, Denver Water and more than 50 others in the USA.

“Assisting Striata’s clients guarantee secure inbox delivery across our ISP partners is an excellent example of how we help commercial senders with the delivery of their high value email communications,” says Daniel Dreymann, President and Co-Founder at Goodmail. “We are committed to working diligently to assure consumers that they can trust email that they receive from our clients and partners.”
