Billtrust's dedicated e-Adoption program helps their clients grow the percentage of bills they send through electronic channels.

Billtrust announced today that it became a member of PayItGreen, a partnership of companies that is committed to educating consumers and businesses about the positive environmental impacts of choosing electronic billing and payment over paper.

"As part of Billtrust's CompleteBilling service, we aggressively help our clients migrate their customers to electronic billing" said Mitch Rose, Billtrust VP of Marketing. "This makes our company a great fit for PayItGreen."

Billtrust's CompleteBilling is a comprehensive service that includes bill design, paper and electronic billing, and payment acceptance. As part of the service, bills are delivered to the bill recipient via multiple channels including Email, Fax, Online and US Mail. A key part of Billtrust's outsourced billing solution is their dedicated e-Adoption program that works with customers to drive paperless delivery.

"The goal of our e-Adoption program is to eliminate paper from the billing process by creating "wins" for both the biller and bill recipient" Rose said. "Almost 40 percent of the invoices and statements sent by Billtrust's customers are via electronic channels."

"We are excited to have Billtrust join PayItGreen," said Samantha Carrier, director of PayItGreen for NACHA. "They have been aggressively promoting eBilling and we are looking forward to their contributions to our team."

"Our association with PayItGreen will help us further enhance our eBilling program resulting in converting more of our clients' billing to electronic channels," said Rose. "We are working hand-in-hand with PayItGreen's members in a collective effort to help the environment by eliminating waste."
