The Paypers

US paperless bill management and payment services company Bill.com has integrated the Sage Peachtree software into its web-based services.

As a result, Bill.com's Sage Peachtree channel is has become a two-way synchronization service that is set to integrate front and back-office finance functions via Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

Bill.com’s web-based service is set to provide financial document management, one-click online bill payment, fraud protection, as well as cash management. The combination of Bill.com's web-based services with Sage Peachtree’s desktop software is expected to eliminate duplicate data entry. In addition, the service aims to support accounting firms with multiple clients utilizing separate data files.

How it works

Invoices are uploaded, emailed or faxed into the Bill.com system where data is automatically entered via Bill.com Zen (Zero Entry). Moreover, bills can be viewed and approved online using any web-enabled device. Throughout the process, users can view digital images of past invoices and contracts, as well as schedule invoices for payment based on due dates and cash flow projections.

Moreover, Bill.com's Sage Peachtree service aims to allow online access to payables both from the office and in a mobile environment. In addition, the service is set to enable several payment methods, including cheques, Bill.com ePayment (ACH) and instant payments via PayPal, which eliminate printing, signing and mailing cheques. Furthermore, Bill.com's Sage Peachtree service aims to offer visibility of accounts payable (A/P) processes, as well as digital storage for bills and financial documents

Bill.com's Sage Peachtree service is expected to be available in early 2011.
