The European website ePractice mentioned yet another success for the PEPPOL tag e-invoicing project.  PEPPOL stands for: Pan-European Public Procurement On Line. It looks like the PEPPOL people project (We love this phrase) is more and more becoming a real competitor for other initiatives that want to provide an e-invoicing network.

Web based medical billing software company Kareo launched a new online healthcare billing services payment option.

The new service sends billing statements to patients via email and provides them an opportunity to conveniently pay them online.

Everyone has an internet connection. That is a no brainer, right. Wrong! Actually there are a lot of people that don't have internet access. At least according to the article "Millions are getting a worse deal simply because they don't have access to the internet" we found on the UK website Thisismymoney.co.uk.

What's the deal here?

Moving to eBills for consumers could also mean a lot less time spent shredding paid monthly phone bills before the garbage is put out to the curb.
