On 5th May 2011 in Brussels, over 30 firms providing e-Invoicing
services from across the EU met to kick-off the formation of the new
association to be called EESPA - the European e-Invoicing Service
Providers Association. It should be fully functioning as a legal body by
the end of the summer.
Village residents soon might be able to save some paper when they
receive and pay their water bills. Beginning soon, Sugar Grove will
offer village water utility customers the chance to receive water bills
by email and then pay the bills online, using their credit and debit
cards.
The Sugar Grove Village Board has authorized village staff to purchase
software that will let village staff to set up such a so-called
e-billing system and manage the program in-house.
The leading provider of purchase-to-pay solutions, has seen a
significant increase in the number of active suppliers and buyers in its
Open Network, with the total rising to 320,000 from 160,000 in 2010.
This figure includes a number of new customers, as well as existing
customers transmitting more and more of their purchase-to-pay
documentation electronically. The growth of the global network attests
to the increasing need among buyers and suppliers to build close trading
relationships and the benefits of an open network approach.
Finnish property services giant ISS Palvelut has implemented an e-invoicing solution for its Finnish business units.
The solution has been developed by financial management services
provider Basware in an agreement worth approximately € 700,000 ($1.1m)
over the next three years.
Healthcare Solutions, a leading provider of integrated medical cost
management solutions, and Jopari Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of
eBilling and ePayment technologies, today announced that Healthcare
Solutions is implementing Jopari's eBill, ePayment and Portal tools to
assist Healthcare Solutions streamline operations and enhance its
service offerings to suppliers, vendors and customers.
